This week, for our releases, we have a Japanese Voice pack perfect for setting up your minigames, and a free pack of mini sprites in the Time Fantasy style!
Getting professional voice actors for your game can both be really expensive and really difficult. But a lot of games can benefit from some fitting human voices to add that extra level of immersion. And if your game is set in Japan, this pack is a great opportunity to fulfil that.
The Karugamo Japanese System Voice Pack includes three female speakers with a huge collection of phrases and words you can use in your project, for a total of over 400 clips. They are made to fit mini games or game showesque sections, and include things such as counting up and down, announcing several types of battle modes, and much more.
And if that isn't enough reason to get this pack, there are also a total of nine unique matching background music pieces. Catching a kind of game show vibe, most of those are great tracks to run in the background of minigames.
And now for an entirely free bonus expansion to the Time Fantasy sets from FinalBossBlues!
The Time Fantasy Mini Sprites bonus expansion brings miniature versions of over a hundred of the already existing Time Fantasy sprites ready to use! How about using them on your worldmap instead of the standard size? And talking about world maps, wouldn’t it be cool to make a tactical game where these tiny sprites are used to symbolize the locations of troops? Or maybe your characters have been shrunk!
You could also use them for different custom menus, symbolizing quest givers in your quest log and much much more.
With them being formatted for original size and plug and play use in VX, Ace, MV and MZ, you are ready to go and play around with them.
The characters correspond to the standard sized ones from the original Time Fantasy Set, the Monster Expansion, the Future Expansion and some freebies, and with the added base you could even create your own.
MZ’s default windowskin is nice, but could be considered a bit too sci-fi inspired for some games. But making a custom windowskin is tough, so what’s a dev to do? If the premade options out there aren’t striking your fancy, then you need to check out Blackxwolf’s Build-A-Windowskin!
Release day is here again, and this week we have three new packs to sink your teeth into! Heroine Character Generator 2 has made the jump to MZ, trot the globe with the first World Music Pack, and head to the stars with Tyler Cline's SciFi Music Pack.
